Shooting food is a greater challenge than most subjects. What looks fantastic on the plate can look completely different through the camera. Height, angle and lighting is critical as is focus. I want to shoot as soon as the food hits the plate to capture the heat and deliciousness of the food so the viewer can actually taste it.
